Redesignated 29 May 1901 as Company C, 27th Infantry

(27th Infantry assigned 1 March 1921 to the Hawaiian Division; relieved 1 October 1941 from assignment to the Hawaiian Division and assigned to the 25th Infantry Division)

Inactivated 1 February 1957 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and relieved from assignment to the 25th Infantry Division; concurrently redesignated as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3d Battle Group, 27th Infantry

Withdrawn 31 March 1959 with Headquarters at Los Angeles, California (Headquarters and Headquarters Company concurrently consolidated with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 255th Infantry [see ANNEX], and consolidated unit designation as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3d Battle Group, 27th Infantry

Reorganized and redesignated 1 April 1963 as the 3d Battalion, 27th Infantry

Inactivated 31 December 1965 at Los Angeles, California, and relieved from assignment to the 63d Infantry Division

Withdrawn 6 December 1965 from the Army Reserve, allotted to the Regular Army, and assigned to the 25th Infantry Division; concurrently activated at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Inactivated 15 December 1970 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Relieved 1 July 1986 from assignment to the 25th Infantry Division, assigned to the 7th Infantry Division, and activated at Fort Ord, California

Inactivated 15 September 1993 at Fort Ord, California, and relieved from assignment to the 7th Infantry Division
