The "Bark of the Wolfhounds" has been published by the Twenty-Seventh Infantry since the early 1920's. In more recent time, the 1st Battalion has published the Bark while the other battalions have published their own newsletters. These new era newsletters do not have the quality or capture the spirit of the regiment as the earlier Barks. Presented for your reading pleasure are a few of the surviving Barks. They have been formatted for the internet but remain substantially the same as the day they were published.

The table below list all the Bark issues that have been saved, rescued, preserved, and in some cases purchased and placed into a secure archive. The originals are encapsulated in acid-free, air-free, bags and stored in strict climate controlled conditions. Only qualified researchers can view them, and then only with a trained staff member there to turn the pages and watch over our history like a hawk. The rest of us, and researchers too, can view them here. Select the date of the Bark you wish to view. Please note that some of the files are large and may take time to download. Due to the age of the original documents some photos may be poor quality. Formatting takes time so check back often for more issues.
